Flowerboxes

The daffodils are looking lovely in the flower boxes. We welcome any help from residents or shop-keepers who can help with watering. Please use the contact form to get involved in keeping Stanmore beautiful.

Bi-weekly meetings

The Society holds bi-monthly Wednesday afternoon meetings at Oakmead Court East Lounge, Valencia Rd, providing talks, discussions and activities. Look out for email details to members and our Facebook page.

Quiz Night

Put it in your diary, calendar, phone app, or brain. April XX is the date for our famous quiz night. Make your own team or make new friends on the night. This will be in Bernay's Hall, and the cost of entry includes a fish and chip supper. What's not to like?

The Stanmore Society was founded in 1959 as an amenity society. As such, it is allowed to comment non-statutorily on planning and historic building matters within the locality, or within a particular conservation area. Its purpose is to promote, preserve and protect Stanmore's community, heritage and natural assets including the Green Belt and conservation areas.

Protecting local interests ...

The committee meets every month, working hard for a better Stanmore for our members, residents, visitors, shop-keepers, shoppers, passers-through. Care to join?

Be part of it: support and shape our future.
